My practice is an exploration of the confusing and often contradictory worldwe live in now, where individual and collective anxieties manifest in different Internet-based sub-communities. Having studied graphic design and photography, I am fascinated by modern day propaganda and perception manipulation within media and advertising. Taking visual inspiration from spirituality, New Age ideologies, cultures and visual languages that have evolved and emerged through popular digital culture, I explore the psychology and semiotics of chaos, confusion and anxiety prompted by today’s digital experience. My work takes shape in various forms from painting and sculpture to installation and video work.
